For over 10 years, Mrema has dealt in and cut precious stones in Tanzania. His speciality is sourcing straight from the field and making sure that only top-quality gems ever reach our clients.
From tanzanite found only in the hills below Kilimanjaro to tourmaline, spinel, ruby and garnet, he hand-picks each stone, oversees its cutting, and stands behind every piece in our showroom at Kibo Tower, Room 4B, Moshi.

Mrema buys rough directly at the source in Tanzania's gem fields — not through layers of middlemen — so he knows where every stone comes from.
Cut with care
With more than a decade at the cutting wheel, he decides how each rough is cut to bring out its best colour and brilliance.
Only top quality
Every stone is graded by eye and under the light before it is offered. If it isn’t right, it doesn’t reach a client.
